Choose one or more SuprAffs from the following list according to that which you find believable and best fits your situation. Read or repeat outloud the SuprAff(s) (NOT THE PART IN PARENTHESIS) daily until your new habits are firmly established. (The latest studies show the average time for changing habits is around 66 days, but everyone is different and you will probably see partial results right away).

For the best results, only focus on a few SuprAffs at a time until your new behavior is well established.

                  SuprAffs: Exercise

I LIKE it when I keep my exercise program on a level that isn't overwhelming. (I can always increase my exercise goals with time.)

I LIKE keeping a daily exercise log. (It motivates me to see my progress and improvement).

I LIKE it when I work many different muscle groups.  (It gives me some variety and keeps my motivation up).

I LIKE warming up slowly before doing heavy exercise. (It helps avoid injury).

I LIKE knowing exercise helps elevate my mood and reduce tension.  (I know that motion is the key to a healthy lifestyle).

I LIKE it when I can temporarily quit exercising if feeling too much resistance.  (It keeps me from feeling overwhelmed and quitting my goals).

I LIKE having a goal of exercising regularly.  (It increases my energy, helps control my weight, maintain my motivation and reduce my stress).

I LIKE exercising for short periods frequently rather than long periods less often. (Recent studies show I will be much less likely to stop exercising with this type routine).

I LIKE it when I get up and move around regularly while at home. (Studies show sitting or lying down for long periods of time increase risk for heart disease).

I LIKE it when I exercise with a partner. (Studies show it increases motivation and the likelihood of persisting).

I LIKE it when I exercise during breaks at my place of work. (Studies show even brief walks increase health & endurance).

Lack of activity destroys the good condition of every human being, while movement and methodical physical exercise save it and preserve it.
-Plato

If it weren't for the fact that the TV set and the refrigerator are so far apart, some of us wouldn't get any exercise at all.
-Joey Adams

"The beauty of using auto-suggestion techniques like SuprAffs to change habits lies in their ease of use. You don't have to force or white-knuckle anything. Just be patient and per-severe and you will slowly feel like doing things differently".
-Neal Engelking
